About
Sanghee “Vivian” Han is a filmmaker and writer born in Seoul, South Korea, and a recent graduate of Vanderbilt University, where she graduated with highest honors in both Art History and Cinema & Media Arts. Her academic and creative work centers on stories that bridge cultures, generations, and genres, often drawing from her own diasporic background.
Blending a strong visual sensibility with narrative depth, Sanghee is drawn to projects that explore memory, identity, and the subtle emotional shifts in everyday life. Her work is influenced by Korean and international cinema, and she is especially interested in stories that dwell in the liminal spaces between home and elsewhere.
She aspires to build a career as both a filmmaker and producer, developing stories that resonate across borders while remaining grounded in intimate human experiences. With a commitment to thoughtful storytelling and cross-cultural dialogue, she hopes to contribute to a more inclusive and globally connected media landscape.
